That slayt shows photographs which are taken by me. I photographed relations, openings between spaces.
Architecture of Antic Egypt
In Antic Egypt, constructions were built near by Nile.In the constructions , light is a strong function, the architects were aware of the light and they created the buildings on that purpose the light is a function, columns help light to play for good function. For example, thebes’s buildings. In Antic Egypt, religion was so important and the pyramids were built for the gods and kings like Thebe City’s.

Expect for pyramids which were built so large for their gods, the houses of egyptians has so small rooms. Only rich ones had second floor and roofs, balconies and roof floor can be seen also.
Topography of Erimtan Museum

This is a sketch work of topography of Erimtan Museum. The middle floor opens a big garden and the entrance is from top floor and there is bottom floor which is below ground.Near the museum walls there is a ramp which is the way to go to Entrance Of Erimtan Museum. People enters Museum from top floor and they can exit from the cafee door of the mid floor.
I made two models about topography and the human scales, densities on the topography.
Through to ramp, there is not so much people because it is not useful to stand. However, when people go to flat area like in front of the entrance and in front of the cafeteria, people are standing and getting much in these areas. Another feature of the in front of the entrance is that there is visuality in that area because it is higher and it has views to see for people that’s why people stand in that area.

That model is more abstract and it also shows density of people. On the slope, people do not stay and stand or do something because the slope id hard to do something for people. That’s why the sloped part which is a ramp density of people is low.Furthermore, there is no visuality on the ramp. However, in front of the cafeteria there is straight and flat area and visuality is really high from that are because it looks a big garden as higher and in front of that area is not full of trees or buildings that’s why density of people is really high and people are getting much in that flat area.
“The world already possessed architecture”
Architects shape and create to build structures. However, before architects the world already possessed architecture. The land is shaped by natural process. For example, The Grand Canyon is sculpted by The Colorado River over millions of years of erosion. It’s a gift of nature.
People structured their homes from environmental sources such as wood, stone, leaves, animal tissue. Primitive people were hunting and they started to use animal tissue to build tends. Primitive people who lived in big forests used wood and big scaled leaves because the environmental sources were them and they were easy to find and use.
After many years, people have started to build with stone. Stone was stronger and useful. People were aware of that. Urfa,Turkey is an important and historical stone age site which is called Gobekli Tepe. Gobekli Tepe consists of circular stone walls and the walls have good systematic although it is built in earliest age. Gobekli Tepe is the oldest temple of the whole world.

Model of Erimtan Museum&Body Experiences

That model show body experiences which are acquired from horizontal surfaces such as sitting, movement, standing etc. The main strategy of that model is density of movement. While I am saying density, I mean places have more people. Around horizontal surfaces, people are getting body experiences like standing and their speeds are slowing when they get body experiences from horizontal surfaces. That model shows density of movement with levels that horizontal surfaces are increasing and decreasing according to density.
That model consists of three parts.

That part is top floor of Erimtan Museum and it has visual experience. People are getting closer to sides to see down floor that’s why levels increase to sides because the sides are denser and has more body experiences such as standing.
In the front, there is increased levels that show sitting experience, there are seats in there and people get body experience that is siting.

That part is middle floor of Erimtan Museum. That part is denser than the others because it has more horizontal surfaces and ways that’s why people get more body experiences in here and the levels are really high in that part because of density.
In that part, we acquire different body experience when we compere with the other experiences. There is an circular corner and it makes different one that people are getting slow and standing when they walk around corner. They turn around that as circular.

That part is bottom floor of Erimtan Museum. There is really a big horizontal surface in that part and people are getting much around that that’s why sides of that horizontal surface is denser and the levels are increasing to that surfaces because of density.
And, that is detailed model of library stairs in Erimtan Museum.

Arch221, How did people get urbanization?
From the past to nowadays, architecture has been developed so much. In the past, we can observe architecture as urbanization such as sumerian urbanization, egyptian etc. And, environment has really big effects on urbanization. For example, in mesopotamia there was not so much rugs that is why primitive people did not use stone. Instead of stone, they mixed some stuffs with ground and they produced adobe they used adobe while they were constructing to buildings.
In the past, while people were constructing buildings, they wanted use they can use in the buildings because there was no light. Egyptian buildings are good example for that. On the top of pyramids, there was a gap which sunlight come through it. It shows light was a function when a building is constructed.
Region was so important to build an urbanization.Religion was important,as well. There were different believes that is why deciding an area to built an urbanization depended on religion sometimes. For example, people were letting a ox ad the ox were running around a area ten people were deciding that area. Furthermore, water resorces, lakes, rivers were so important to decide to build urbanization. It was easy to reach water when they built their homes near by water but they were aware of flooding that is why they were choosing to built their homes on hills.
