Final Model of First Semester

In this model, many operations are applied which comprise all semester; such as copy, move, rotate, scale, strech, tear and fold. All these operations provide this model strong relations.

burak

These coluered planes show two different relations. There are two groups in this model. One of the gropus are combined more complex and tears and fols are applied to inside. However, the ather group is less complex and it’s planes are bigger. These two group have common points like creating relations. Then, There is a big plane in this model and this plane is teared and folded three times while the other planes are teared and folded twice. Therefore the plane is a main plane and the other planes combined on it it is also creating different relation.

In here, there are two relations betweem planes.expressive.jpg

As you see in here, there is an orthographic set of this model and in this set some planes are coloured. These coloured planes are showing different relations. Then, there is an axonometric drawing. The axonometric drawing has some coloured planes, too.Coloured planes show us different relations.

Many architects is gave a word and they spoke in many different issues. I liked some words but someones and their words disturbed me in terms of opinions.

Copy&Move&Rotate&Strech

ass2.3After 2.2 assigmnt, I crated this model. Streching size of one element from these units is asked to us. It created new relations also streching one element of unit made the model more comlex.

Then, I started to draw an ortographic set of this model. While I was drawing the set, I took care of line quality, line thickness and relations of units.

Then, I started to draw axonometric of this model. Before I started axonometric drawing, I draw top wiev of this model. It helped me as reference lines while I was drawing this model.

Atmosphere creaters in documents: FONTS

Font can give us information about text. For example, how long it takes someone to read the tect. Fonts can create mood. Fonts can give us emotion of documents. Sense can be provided by fonts. There are many different font types:

1. Serif Fonts

You can see fonts as having feet. It is easier with this type to read the text.

2. Sans-Serif Fonts

If serif-fonts have lines at the end of particular strokes, then non-serif fonts are marked by the absence of these features. The lines contribute texts clean  views

3. Decorative Fonts

Sometimes called script, novelty, or ornamental, decorative fonts stand out for their unique shapes and personalities. These tend to have a stronger personality or character than traditional serif or sans-serif fonts in terms of personality or character .20071221021651_705.jpg

Ornament and Crime

320px-Adolfloos.2

Adolf Franz Karl Viktor Maria Loos was a modern architect in europia. His architectural theory was about  ornamentation. He explored the idea that the progress of culture is associated with the deletion of ornamentation from everyday objects, and that it was therefore a crime to force craftsmen or builders to waste their time on ornamentation that served to hasten the time when an object would become obsolete . Loos’ stripped-down buildings influenced the minimal massing of modern architecture, and stirred controversy. He strongly believe that nobody cannot change human evolution. Periods are changing day by day and it cannot be stoped. In the past people are interested in ornamentation. They ornamented everything which is accesible from human such as their own bodies, ships, woods, barracks. However thr ornamentation is decreasing, even disappear. Therefore, many other arts become and process with decreasing ornamentation. Maybe, The lack of ornament represent power. When the ornamentation decrease, invented to power is focused on other things like music.

Regulating Lines & Discovery from Primitive Human

Regulating lines is a necessity for human from the past to day. Human awared of some dimensions which are considered when human build something. These dimesions are :

*structure to be built well

*to be shared right of pulling force

*soundness

*usefulness

and  some measurement units was necessary for these dimesions in the past. The measurement units were arm, steps or fingers for primitive human. However, today there are many technological measurement units with proccesing technology. Ordiring was provided by measurement. When primitive human built something, human awared some properties; right angle, axis, square and circle.Human awared them because these are geometric as dimensions.
